I originally qualified as a nurse and midwife. After having a break to bring up my children I returned to nursing only to feel there was something missing from the care I was giving patients. I was dealing with their physical problems, but often there were emotional, mental or spiritual issues which were not dealt with.
It was at this time that reiki came into my life and I knew I had found what I had been looking for. I had a way of helping the 'whole' person and all they had to do was lie back and enjoy the experience!
