Reflexology


Reflexology is based on the principle that all of the body is mapped on the feet. The reflexes are the points on the feet that correspond to specific areas of the body. (A reflexology treatment can also be worked on the hands, but the feet, being larger, allow a more precise assessment). By applying pressure with thumbs or fingers to the reflex points, the reflexologist can locate blockages and imbalances in the body, and help to correct them. This restores the flow of natural healing energies, thus aiding a return to optimum health.
